Vascular Treatment Plan at The VE Clinic

Vascular Treatment Plan at the VE Clinic

Individually tailored treatment & procedures

Consultation, diagnosis and treatment plans by one of our senior vascular specialists Dr Julian Wong MBBS FRCS and Dr Tjun Tang MD FRCS

When you book a consultation with the Vascular & Endovascular Clinic, you will receive our dedicated, experienced patient care and undivided attention. Our personal private clinic executives are on hand to help you book a suitable clinic appointment to match your scheduled time at our newly refurbished clinic at Gleneagles Medical Centre (#08-08).

“We personally take the time to fully assess your condition, reviewing your medical history and performing a thorough vascular examination and a diagnostic Duplex Ultrasound scan”

Based on all this information from your medical history, physical examination and Duplex ultrasound scan, we shall discuss the findings and the various treatment options which are appropriate to your specific needs.

The consultation from start to finish usually takes about 20-30 minutes inclusive of the ultrasound scan and at the end of this process, you will normally have all the information you need to make an informed decision.

Occasionally, more complex vascular problems require more specialised investigations such as a computer tomography scan and we shall arrange for these to be performed expediently if necessary.

There’s a wide choice of treatments and procedures available to combat vascular conditions such as varicose veins/thread veins and peripheral arterial disease and we understand that it can be a little overwhelming at times. Finding the perfect treatment plan, that’s specifically tailored for you, is crucial to achieving the results you want.

“Our vascular specialists will perform a full diagnostic assessment with a Duplex ultrasound scan to identify the underlying problem with either your arteries or veins before recommending the best procedure and treatment plan for you”

Each patient is unique and the presenting vascular symptoms and signs may themselves be the tip of the iceberg – we need to assess the underlying vascular condition before deciding upon the most suitable treatment for you.

All modern treatments have potentially an open surgical or endovascular (keyhole) option depending on the patient’s other medical conditions, disease severity and expectations. No two peoples’ arteries and veins are the same and the right procedure for one person may not be right or successful for someone else.

Don’t shy away from treatment, help is on hand to find a vascular or endovascular procedure that is tailored to you and your lifestyle “

We shall talk you through a recommended treatment plan in detail, supplemented by information leaflets and pictures, and you will have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you want. Both Dr Wong and Dr Tang have been successfully treating vascular patients for a combined experience of 40+ years both in Singapore and in the UK and we shall wholeheartedly offer our expert opinions and support, based on up-to-date evidence-based medicine and research with compassion and understanding.

We shall be able to arrange a mutually convenient date for any treatment required.
