Gleneagles Hospital has Revamped its Interventional Radiology Angio Suite on Level 1

The Azurion Philips system is a state-of-the-art medical imaging and interventional platform that combines advanced imaging technology with innovative workflow solutions. It is designed to assist vascular specialists in performing minimally invasive procedures with precision and efficiency.

It provides high-quality imaging, real-time image guidance, and advanced visualization tools to help clinicians make accurate diagnoses and perform complex vascular interventions.

Our specialists at the VEC collaborate closely with our Gleneagles radiology colleagues to perform highly complex vascular procedures such as lower limb angioplasty or revascularization for patients with peripheral artery disease and diabetic foot problems. Also, we use this imaging platform to clear out deep vein thrombosis from patients’ deep veins and also rescue fistuloplasty or angioplasty of blocked Arterio-venous fistulas or grafts of our end-stage kidney failure patients.
