It was great seeing Joseph and his wife again who are one of our favourite patients from Indonesia. Joseph had a dysfunctional arteriovenous fistula, which required ballooning called fistuloplasty because of a narrowing in the outflow vein. This was done under local anaesthetic and sedation and he was using the AVF again immediately the next day without any issues.
Joseph always wears a big smile on his face and likes to share a joke or two when he comes with both Dr Wong and me. His wife is so loving and caring for him and it is always a pleasure to see them both. They bring the biggest and sweetest mangoes from their hometown and the whole team at VEC are always appreciative. 😃🙏🙏
